Keyless Remote Transmitter Programming

Remote

USA-spec Remote as a Call Button / UK- Model Remote’s do not.

If you have replaced the battery in your remote, or you have purchased a new remote or even a second-hand one as a spare it will need programming or re-programmed in to your GL1800 Goldwing

This is a simple operation and I have listed below the steps required to complete this task.

If you’re too fast, or too slow when turning the ignition on /off you will need to start again.

1. Turn the ignition switch on – between one and four seconds and press the trunk “Pop-Up” button on the transmitter while aiming the transmitter at the trunk. Between one and four seconds, turn the ignition switch off. Note: keep the timing between one and four seconds, too fast or too slow will cause the control unit to lose the stored codes.
