a mate of mine in australia wants an 1800, hes road tested 22 in brisbane and says both had a whir from the trans. is this a common thing with the 1800. the dealer told him to turn the radio up. any input will be passed on to oz. many thanks wayne

thats what i said but to have driven two of them and both noisy seems a bit funny must be the way the dealer has put them togetherFrownany way he aint been back on so he might have stayed with his harleysthanks anyway wayne

mine has that noise from the transmission and stu n barry reckon its no problem, its normal.

tell him not to worry.

cheers chaps have sent your comments to oz but i think hes been put off because he went looking at bmw1200 and he hasnt got back yet. but thanks for the input and i hope you all have a very merry christmas best wishes wayne
