Just thought I would drop in and say Hello……………

Me (Chris) and the wife have finally got our ultimate dream………….. Oh!! and a 1991 GL1500. Embarassed

We have been riding on different bikes, Bandits, Blackbirds, XJR for a good few years although we have always secretly wanted a Wing.

Then last June, Like a bolt out of the blue, I was offered a straight swap for my Super Blackbird!!!!! Me, being the meek and mild sort of chap thought it would have been rude not to oblidge this poor Jedi Knight who wanted to move to the dark side.

We reside in Hull, well someone has to Smile and both Marie (wife)  and I are bus drivers Frown. Street cred now right out of the window.

We are yet to start going on rideouts but work commitments permiting we intent to come on as many as we can and look forward to meeting other members and becoming part of what looks to be a well organised team

Hi you two from Hull

There are quite a few members of the Goldwing Owners Club who come from that part of the Country so dont worry about being from HULL… ha ha the best part is that you have a Goldwing. I am not biased because I am not a motor-biker but have had to be because my partner and my daughter are both Bikers

So it was a a case of join em … we dont work.. being skivvers NOT,… so are available anytime for a ride out – when Barry gets his finger out and gets out trike biult. ONLY JOKING BARRY —– see you in the New Year

hi chris and welcome to the wanderers,

you will be hard pressed to find a friendlier bunch of goldwing rides anywhere,

dont worry about, hull, or the bus driving bit, some one as to give the old dears like lynne, a free ride.,

and speaking of free, if bus passes were free to rocky, would be a regular bus user, "its not the money"

please feel free to join us on any of our rideouts, and if you need any advice, just ask.

Hello and welcome….even though your both  bus drivers! Surprised

It will soon be March and time for the first rideout,  hopefully you won't pull over at every bus stop we come across, that would be fun 12 Goldwings at a bus stop!! it would be good material for "The Scribe" too  he he he! Wink

Seriously though it willbe good to meet you both…Barry is getting old ( he fell over at Xmas)  so will be tapping you for a bus pass too!
